This week is full of all kinds of fun things, well for the kids that is lol More specifically the kids at Jr’s school. Yesterday was water day, today was music day and tomorrow is pj/game day. It’s so neat for them (the teachers) to be doing all of this for the kids. It just makes the school year all that more special for them. Also today Jr came home from school with a present from his teacher. She gave him a book, how sweet is that! I’m kind of sad that tomorrow is his last day of school. I know in the beginning of the school year I wasn’t pleased that Jr was being transferred out of his class and into a new one because the class sizes are were too large but in the end I am happy that it was done. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher for him. She pushed him when he needed to be pushed and helped when he struggled. And now he will be moving up to first grade when 8 months ago we weren’t sure if that was going to happen.
Back to water day. Myself along with another students mom were in charge of a group of eight kids. The teachers set up 14 water stations, each with a different activity. It was a lot of fun watching and helping the kids. They all had a blasty blast.Here are a few pictures of my little man enjoying his day.

I know I haven’t been around much and for that I apologize but things have been busy. Between family things and with Jr ending school and my husband also, and his finals I haven’t had much time for blogging. But I wanted to share my sons special day with everyone.
Jr graduated Kindergarten yesterday!!! I am sooooo proud of him. He has come a long way from when he started, barely being able to write or read, now he does both very well. He can also count to almost two hundred. It’s just amazing watching his progress.
His teacher was very sweet to mention a few things about each of the children before she gave them their certificates of completion. I can’t believe in just a few short months I am going to have a first grader!

I can’t believe I have been away so long from my blog! Let me just say, the sickies suck. First I got sick, then I was so nice as to share with my poor kids, then my husband and I’m still fighting whatever it is I got. Thank goodness it’s not nearly as bad as it was three weeks ago but dang I would love it if this cough and congestion would go away.
So what have we been up to, other then being sick, um not much lol. I took the kids to McDonalds the other week after we were all feeling a bit better for some ice cream. Hey what’s better then ice cream on a warm day!




After that we headed to the park. Thank goodness it wasn’t the middle of summer because for some odd reason when they built this park apparently they didn’t find trees/shade necessary. Hello, we live in the desert, but hey what do I know, I’m not some city planner, just a stay at home mom LOL I know everything who are we kidding 😉 j/k But seriously I do think it was a big oversight on their part not to have any shade at a park. Just saying.

Jr, the bad a** lol

My moms birthday was on the 28th of last month. It’s been a rough past six months for mom with everything that is going on with my grandparents so it was nice to just go out, relax and be the loudest family in the restaurant LOL and the last one’s there. We don’t have a big family but with four kids under six and my sister Kyla who just naturally talks loud, we get a bit noisy. But it’s fun. I love hanging out with my family no matter how much they tend to drive me batty sometimes.
Other then that life has been same ole, same ole over here. Jr is in his last month of school. Actually today marks exactly one month left. I swear he was just born the other day, now here he is about to graduate from Kindergarten 🙁 I so know I’m going to cry at their awards/graduation ceremony. All the kids are doing well. Sam is my girly girl who hoards every single toy car in the house LOL Shawn is a terror, I mean a wonderful, energetic, CURIOUS little man. I love it. The boy can drive me batty but he melts my heart at the same time. I love being a mother.

I know my pictures are crappier then normal, I had to use my point and shoot since my Nikon is temporarily out of service 🙁 But as you can see this macaroni came out perfect! It was a hit at dinner and all the left overs have already been eaten. I really enjoyed that although three strong cheese flavors were used the taste was very smooth and subtle. The Parmesan added a little bit of saltiness to each bite which is better then salting your macaroni, who does that! But there weren’t any overpowering flavors to this dish. It is definitely a keeper!

I came on here to post some pictures of my baby girls very FIRST hair cut and my camera erased ALL my pictures. I called my husband crying. Yes I am crying over pictures. I am a picture freak and I like to document everything. Especially my kids firsts. The first hair cut may seem insignificant to some but it’s important to me and I am so sad that I don’t have any pictures to share with her when she is older or my friends, family and followers here.
This isn’t the first time my camera has done this either. I almost threw my camera I was so upset. Thankfully I didn’t because I am crossing all my fingers and toes that my husband can recover some if not all of my 130 or so pictures I had on there.
This is all I have right now is this picture I took from my phone, but it will have to do.

If anyone knows me I am not a planner, I don’t have a daily routine (so to speak) and I am a very random person. My thought process is very random too LOL it’s one of those things that makes me me. So today I was sitting here pondering what to write about and it hit me, why not write about me, well what it is to live my life. So here we go.

MOMMMMMM! That’s how my mornings start. I slowly drag myself out of bed. I used to be a morning person but I also used to go to bed at a decent hour so without my coffee I am a little slow to start off. My daughter runs into my room and tells me to get her brother, that would be the one yelling mom and Jr is running at full speed to the bathroom. It’s the same scene every morning and yet I wouldn’t change it for the world. Now that the weather is starting to warm up I have been bringing the kids outside letting them run around like crazy and getting some time out of the house. Of course my camera is a perma fixture in my hands when were out playing. I wouldn’t be the picture freak if that weren’t the case. And yes people call me that because I have over pictures!

Speaking of pictures here’s a few I took the other day.

My husband isn’t a fan of this picture. He doesn’t like that the tree is standing up straight but I think it gives another dimension to the picture. I’m not a fan of all pictures being straight and boring.

After everyone left I watched as Shawn walked down the hall and I glanced up at the picture of me from when I was 21 months, almost exactly the same age as Shawn right now and knew I had to HAVE a picture of him and that picture! I’ve always heard my kids favor me, well at least when they were younger but I think Shawn might actually be my mini me. Especially the hair! Can you believe I used to have hair like that. And wow his hair is lighter then mine was.

My husband works weekends so were not like the typical family in doing everything then. We try to do things during the week when he’s home and not in school. Right now it’s working out good since Jr is on spring break. Gives us more time to do things with everyone and not leave Jr out. I love that Jr is in school and that he is also loving it but I miss my baby boy 🙁 He’s growing up so fast and in a short time he will be in FIRST grade! Ack. Oh btw I am so proud of him. He didn’t go to preschool and was struggling a bit when he first started school but I got his report card last week and he has a 97% in his class! Go Jr!!!!

I’m sitting here right now and my little princess saw that I was looking at her so she instantly changed from happy to I want mommy and I’m going to pout about it now LOL She knows how to work the system. Well I think that was enough rambling for today. I’m going to watch Mulan with my chitlens and enjoy our day together.
